The human auditory system can hear signals with frequency between approximately 20Hz and 20kHz.
Music consists signal that cover most of that frequency range. Typically, a musical note consists fundamental frequency(tone) and number of harmonics(overtones).
For a sound reproduction system to present a faithful copy of the original signal, the electrical signal from the amplifier should be converted to sound that preserves as much relative magnitude of all the original frequency components as possible.
SISO is the only sound processor that reproduce original signal without distortion.
